This website
https://liftsol.pk sets no cookies at all. It also has:
- No analytics: no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixel of any kind
- No third-party scripts and no chat widget
- No advertising or cross-site tracking
- No runtime font request. The typefaces are served from our own domain, so no request reaches a font provider
Our server keeps ordinary request logs, as any web server does, to serve pages and diagnose faults. Nothing is stored in your browser.
The video on the home page
The home page shows one video, Jay Cutler’s “The night I finally won the Olympia”, from JayCutlerTV on YouTube. Until you press play, nothing is requested from YouTube: the picture you see is drawn by this site, from our own domain, and no YouTube script runs.
When you press play, the video loads inside a frame from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed. From that moment YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to what happens inside that frame, and YouTube may store data in your browser for its own purposes. Pressing play is your choice to allow that; if you do not press it, nothing from YouTube ever loads.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist because a site wants to set cookies it is not entitled to set without asking. This one has nothing to ask about: the only third-party content is the video above, and it asks for your consent the honest way, by doing nothing until you press play. The consent platforms that display those banners usually set a cookie themselves to remember your answer.
The Liftsol dashboard
The partner dashboard is a different application, at a different address, behind a login. It uses browser storage for the things a logged-in application has to remember:
- Your session, so you are not signed out between pages
- Which gym or branch you last had selected
- Your light or dark theme preference
All three are necessary for the product to work and none of them track you anywhere else. There is no analytics or advertising storage in the dashboard either.
The mobile apps
The Liftsol apps are not web pages and do not use cookies. They store a login token and your preferences on the device so you are not signed out each time you open them. What the apps collect is covered by the privacy policy.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or any third-party script that loads on its own, this page changes in the same breath and a consent mechanism appears with it. Until you see that, the first sentence of this page is accurate.
